My work is rooted in time spent outdoors – walking by the sea, along rivers, through ancient woodlands, and across changing landscapes. Nature is not something I try to replicate, but something I respond to. Each painting begins with a feeling, a rhythm, or a moment of connection, and unfolds through layers of colour, texture, and movement.

I work intuitively with watercolour, ink, acrylic, and mixed media, allowing the process to guide the outcome rather than imposing a fixed idea. The paintings often evolve slowly, shaped by flow, resistance, and chance – much like the natural environments that inspire them. What emerges is abstract, but grounded in lived experience and place.
